Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is looking to solve challenges in automotive software development, specifically for software-defined vehicles, by creating a new operating system and related technologies.
Requirements
- Familiar with Linux systems and able to write shell, bash scripts.
- Good at writing automation scripts and using Python to parsing data.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools including Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and others. Use Git bash
- Experience with the best-in-class Software development practices and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Android Frameworks and platforms, MacOS, Linux and Windows. Be able to configure and manage these platforms
- Experience developing automation tools, automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines: Selenium, Appium, API testing and more using various DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with various APIs, DB, IOT and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Testing vehicle mapping and charging applications on Android based automotive devices
- Performing cloud testing and ensuring seamless interaction with the automotive apps
- Designing and developing internal tools to test vehicle firmware, cloud and mobile app, such as Appium based automation frameworks, API Testing Framework, vehicle simulator, software to control hardware, and IOT devices
- Architecting and developing DevOps pipelines using various tools: AWS, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker and more.
- Collaborating with the product and the development teams to create test plans and test cases for app features, Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications.
- Identifying potential problems and working with developers to resolve application bottlenecks.
- Supporting failure analysis and root cause analysis for test and integration issues.
