Fidelity is looking to solve the problem of delivering high-quality code to production by ensuring thorough testing efforts across multiple environments throughout all phases of the development life cycle.
Requirements
- Demonstrated Expertise (DE) creating domain-specific automated test cases in Java/J2EE for functional testing;
- DE writing User Interface (UI) automated tests using Selenium WebDriver;
- DE validating data integrity during Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data migrations, using PL/SQL, SQL Developer, Snowflake, and ICEDQ for data automation;
- DE performing User and Business Acceptance Testing (UAT), white and black-box, integration, regression, performance, functional, UI, smoke, database, and Chaos testing, using PL/SQL queries and views, and test automation frameworks;
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using Jenkins;
- Experience with Cloud computing technologies -- Udeploy, Jenkins, DevOps, and Amazon Web Services (AWS);
- Experience with JMeter for load and performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
- Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
- Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
- Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
- Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in Test;
- Alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in Test;
- Must be able to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
- Must be able to pass background check due to Fidelity’s business being governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and other laws and regulations.
- Must have ability to work in a hybrid environment.
