Requirements
- Experience with Ruby on Rails for API servers
- Experience with Go for load testing
- Experience with Python/BASH for DevOps
- Experience with AWS cloud provider
- Experience with Cloudwatch, Cloudformation, Codebuild, ElastiCache (memcached), EC2, Lambda, RDS (PostgreSQL), SQS, S3
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management
- Experience with SQL database performance optimization
Responsibilities
- Scaling/Optimizing backend software and infrastructure to support large increases in traffic
- Supporting new API features in concert with product teams
- Classifying and prioritizing tasks based on ROI
- Identifying and executing ongoing reliability tasks (e.g. load testing, autoscaling)
- Identifying and executing forward-looking service/framework improvements
