Requirements
- Experience designing and developing in C / C++ Object-Oriented Programming languages
- Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl)
- Experience in scripting using Python or similar
- Experience with effector development, platform interfaces, and platform/effector time synchronization
- Experience with military serial data bus standards, such as MIL-STD-1553
- Experience developing software using C++ Environments and with C++ Unit Test Frameworks
- Knowledge of Redhat and Linux Operating Systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software based on capability roadmaps in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering incremental builds
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with systems and Integration& Test engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline
- Travel to a local customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test, as needed
- Provide a critical and versatile middle layer of defense against various threats
- Develop complex systems in C++
- Support the IFPC Software mission
Other
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and leadership audiences
- Travel to a local customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test, as needed
