Lithic needs to lead its next phase of growth by building and maintaining services that manage the entire lifecycle of an account holder and card.
Requirements
- Experience shipping in production environment and leading projects
- Strong distributed system instincts and design skills
- Experience in or desire to learn Rust
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and step in as a strong individual contributor
- Python skills (team primarily uses Python)
- Knowledge of card payments space (industry best practices)
Responsibilities
- Lead development of new card and account opening lifecycle features (card issuance, tokenization, physical card manufacturing, KYB/KYC, document collection & applications)
- Ensure high reliability and availability for Lithic’s API
- Orchestrate cross functional teamwork to design standards across all engineering teams
- Provide expertise to bring industry best practices to our APIs
- Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team
- Participate in the team on-call rotation
