Requirements
- Proficiency in JVM languages such as Kotlin or Java
- Expert level understanding of public APIs
- Experience building large-scale cloud systems
- Excellent object-oriented design skills
- Professional experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud technologies such as AWS
- Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization protocols
- Experience with network protocols
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing a reliable public API with a focus on security, performance and scale
- Delivering a global and reliable public API for networking monitoring data
- Building large-scale cloud systems
- Implementing API security, authentication, and authorization protocols
- Resolving production incidents and participating in on-call rotations
- Developing and maintaining cloud technologies such as AWS
- Collaborating with engineering teams to deliver the best in class public API
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Ability to come into the offices in Lisbon (Lagoas Park) at least once per week
