Illumio is looking to build a new way to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation down to the application/pod level to identify and block pathways of attacks in the container ecosystem, thereby enhancing ransomware and breach containment for organizations.
Requirements
- 4+ years building distributed & scalable software systems
- Proficient in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python , Java, etc.
- Experience building large, distributed, and scalable software systems
- Familiarity with, and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging skills
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge
Responsibilities
- You will build a new, unprecedented way to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation down to the application / pod level, identifying easily blocking pathways of attacks in the container ecosystem
- You will understand and enhance modern container platforms such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE etc.
- You will have the opportunity to own and design critical features and subsystems, work out all the details, and defend the design before your peers
- You will deliver a rock-solid implementation that is elegant, simple, scalable, stable, secure, and supportable.
- You will have the opportunity to work with the field organization and key customers to shape this novel product

- Onsite, Sunnyvale, California (5 days a week in the office)
