Ziff Davis Shopping is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Laravel/PHP) to join their Engineering team to work on some of the most trafficked commerce sites on the internet, focusing on websites and their content management systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry development experience (PHP, Javascript).
- Experience working with MVC frameworks Laravel, Rails (or similar)
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience working with MySQL
- Experience working with Laravel and Laravel Nova
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue JS or Alpine JS
- Experience working with Git, Docker, testing frameworks
Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, and architect solutions for complex features and business requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, optimizing application performance, scalability, and security.
- Track and improve application performance metrics such as response time, error rate, and uptime
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code consistently, following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability of systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks in processes and recommending solutions
