AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, specifically Annapurna Labs, is looking for candidates to design silicon and software that accelerates innovation for cloud solutions, tackling unprecedented technical challenges in machine learning servers and hardware/software co-design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience writing low level drivers, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
Responsibilities
- Members of the team are responsible for software related to machine learning hardware at all points in the hardware life cycle.
- Working with silicon design and hardware design teams across EC2
- Developing software which can be maintained, improved upon, documented, tested, and reused.
- Software focused on hardware for the most advanced servers in the world.
- Server software primarily for debug, testing, qualification, and manufacturing.
- Finding ways to help the organization scale though the use of software and automation as it relates to specific hardware technologies.
