Requirements
- 5 years of experience with software development in Python.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, or Large Language Models.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
Responsibilities
- Create partnerships with product teams and researchers at Google DeepMind to translate state-of-the-art AI research into tangible, cutting-edge user experiences in flagship Platforms & Devices (P&D) products.
- Lead the end-to-end development of new models, from initial research and prototyping for core challenges to rigorous evaluation.
- Design and build scalable, reusable ML models and infrastructure that serve as a foundation for multiple product teams, identifying strategic opportunities to accelerate innovation across the entire Platforms & Devices ecosystem.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
