Applied Intuition is looking to solve the problem of creating and managing maps at scale for autonomous vehicles, specifically continent-scale maps, to ensure safe deployment of vehicles
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building or managing MD or HD map data that has been used for autonomous vehicles
- Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind any frameworks or libraries that they worked with
- Familiarity with geospatial and visualization libraries, such as GEOS, Shapely, and three.js
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure and tools to provide the best map creation and management tools for customer teams tackling the issue of creating maps at scale
- Help ensure that the maps that go on tomorrow’s autonomous vehicles are fresh and error-free
- Work closely with in-house and customer engineers to help deploy best practices for AV map creation and management

- In-office work 5 days a week with occasional remote work
- MSc or PhD in computer science, robotics, mathematics, or another mapping related field

- Base salary range for this full-time position: $153,000 - $222,000 USD annually
