Waymo is looking to implement lineage tracking & data compliance across its ML data infra stack to support the foundation model development and improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience in designing distributed systems processing data at scale
- Experience with designing & scaling ML data infra
- Experience with implementing data compliance & data governance solutions
Responsibilities
- Implement new features in Waymo's ML data infra, such as data compliance
- Design & build a lineage tracking system across Waymo's ML data infra
- Support the continuing scaling of Waymo's ML data in support of the foundation model development
- Collaborate with ML modeling teams in understanding their data needs & design infra solutions that solve their problems
Other
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of professional experience in the field of software engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about building world-class ML infrastructure
