Requirements
- 2+ years software development experience
- Experience with Java and/or .NET (or similar technologies)
- Understanding of Angular and Java frameworks
- Experience developing services and APIs
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with solid grasp of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of best practices for software development including testing, monitoring, and design
- Unit testing expertise with knowledge of how to write effective unit tests
Responsibilities
- Develop independently: Build software and resolve defects autonomously while designing, coding, and testing new platform components and enhancements for web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure platform stability: Triage incoming bugs and production incidents while investigating and troubleshooting issues across the entire platform ecosystem.
- Enhance operations: Perform technical operation tasks including monitoring capability enhancements while helping monitor production systems and raising awareness of emerging issues.
- Drive technical planning: Participate in sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off sessions to help estimate stories, raise implementation awareness, and provide technical insights.
- Maintain code quality: Write robust unit tests covering edge cases, usability, and reliability while following best practices for software development including testing and monitoring.
- Champion technical excellence: Articulate and champion design strategies related to scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and usability.
- Production ownership: Triage bugs, investigate incidents, and enhance monitoring capabilities for platform stability
