LG NOVA, the corporate incubation arm of LG Electronics, is seeking to explore and launch transformative ventures in cleantech, healthcare, and AI by identifying novel applications of emerging technologies and rapidly prototyping businesses around them. The Senior Software Engineer will support Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) in developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) by providing engineering judgment, technical contribution, and product sensibility.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong technical judgment: ability to distinguish what’s feasible, what’s not, and what’s risky
- Experience with full-stack or backend systems
- React is a plus
- React Native is a plus
- Python is a plus
- Comfort working in hybrid roles that blend engineering with product strategy
Responsibilities
- Translating business concepts into actionable technical plans
- Contributing to engineering work on the microservices and integration layers
- Managing external development teams to ensure delivery quality
- Identifying technical risks and edge cases in early-stage ideas
