The Foundry Agent Platform organization within Azure AI Platform is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build advanced tools and platforms to monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI agent performance. The goal is to develop intuitive, powerful user interfaces that make complex agent data accessible and actionable, enabling users to proactively monitor and optimize agent performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with React
  • 4+ years experience with TypeScript
  • coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities

  • Build User Interfaces (UIs) that harness AI-powered agents to deliver automatic insights, intelligent alerts, and anomaly detection—enabling users to proactively monitor and optimize agent performance.
  • Develop customizable, AI-augmented dashboards that adapt to diverse user needs and workflows, elevating the observability experience with automation and personalization.
  • user-centered design thinking to transform intricate agent telemetry and evaluation data into clear, actionable dashboards and visualizations that empower users to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, data scientists, site reliability engineers (SREs), and product managers to gather requirements, iterate on features, and deliver seamless, end-to-end user experiences.
  • Communicate effectively within a cross-functional, innovative team—contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and shared problem-solving to drive the platform forward.
  • Develop software using languages such as TypeScript, React, and others
  • Collaborate with partner teams to comprehend, define, enhance, and develop Azure AI and Observability capabilities

  • 3 days / week in-office
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
