Vannevar Labs needs senior engineers to develop and maintain applications for classified networks, focusing on delivering mission-critical capabilities to support strategic competition against peer adversaries.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development building user-facing products.
- 4+ years of experience building responsive and performant web UIs.
- 2+ years of full stack development, including familiarity with relational databases (like Postgres), caching technologies (like Redis), and object stores (like S3).
- Demonstrated knowledge of tools and best-practices for testing web applications is a huge plus.
- Experience with Typescript, React, and JavaScript
- Experience building working on front end frameworks
Responsibilities
- Develop applications to be hosted on classified networks
- Implement new features and user interfaces.
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications in environments with performance and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Mission, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
- Own and ship significant features along with architectural changes in collaboration with junior developers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.
- Drive key technical decisions and establish best practices for software engineering within your team.
