Babylist is looking to solve the problem of providing a seamless purchasing, trusted guidance, and expert product recommendations experience for new parents and the people who love them, by building a full ecosystem for new parents, including the Babylist Shop, Babylist Health, and a flagship showroom in Los Angeles.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience delivering end to end solutions that drive business growth
- Skilled and experienced in Ruby on Rails and React
- Experienced in incorporating AI tools into daily software development practices, including code generation, automated testing, and rapid prototyping to enhance development velocity and code quality
- Knowledge of AWS, Sidekiq, MySQL, and Redis
- Exceptional problem solver
- Able to deliver elegant, effective software solutions in a timely manner

Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership around process, tooling, systems, and software architecture
- Improve and help maintain existing systems
- Work closely with product owners to design, implement and deploy systems to support and scale user shopping experiences, research and recommendation, personalizing and extending the Registry experience
- Mentoring other team members through design and architecture planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Identifying opportunities for new product initiatives founded on your knowledge of the technical landscape and web platform capabilities
- Deliver elegant, effective software solutions in a timely manner
- Incorporating AI tools into daily software development practices, including code generation, automated testing, and rapid prototyping to enhance development velocity and code quality
