Celonis is looking to improve time to production, reduce developer friction, and ensure reliability at scale across their engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend, DevOps, and/or platform engineering roles
- Experience as a full stack engineer, working end to end
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g. Python, Go, Java)
- Solid understanding of modern cloud-native systems (especially containers and Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring
- Experience with GitOps and deployment tools (ArgoCD, Kargo, Flux, Helm, Kustomize)
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
Responsibilities
- Accelerate delivery by improving automation and tooling to reduce Time to Prod across all services
- Design and implement developer-facing infrastructure that reduces friction and improves software quality across Celonis’s engineering teams
- Shape the roadmap for Celonis’ internal developer platform
- Drive adoption of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service patterns across engineering teams
- Scale feature flag-based deployment strategies to enable controlled, reliable, progressive rollouts
- Enhance observability, incident response, and deployment safety across Celonis’s software stack
- Own critical systems—from concept to rollout to support—in partnership with SRE, Platform Infrastructure, and Product teams
