Collins Aerospace is looking to fill the role of Product Line Software Engineer to focus on the technical aspects of product development related to architecture, design, and development process for software-only products within the FACE Applications area.
Requirements
- Operational knowledge and experience with F.A.C.E.
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle using C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: DO-178B/C.
- Experience in the design and development of deliverable software (production or consumer facing).
- AGILE development experience.
- Experience in software testing, debugging source code including familiarity with Git, Jira, and/or Bitbucket for configuration management and workflow management.
- Experience programming in a Unix/Linux based development environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical decisions that align with the highest standards in quality while maintaining a various product line portfolio and customer contracts.
- Strong technical skills specifically in system-based development.
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle using C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
