Rosetta Stone is seeking Senior Software Engineers to add new features to their successful language learning products.
Requirements
- Excellent programming skills (e.g. Ruby/Go or Java)
- Modern best practices in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL/Node, React is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base
- Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products
- Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations
- Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products
- Mentor teammates, communicate and teach your learnings
Other
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for improving language learning through technology
- The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.
