Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of advanced display solutions for military markets, leveraging emerging technologies and shaping the architecture of next-generation avionics displays.
Requirements
- Experience in a software engineering role.
- Familiarity with Python scripting.
- Python, ADA or MATLAB Simulink Experience
- Software development or testing experience
- AGILE development experience
- DO-178 (or similar) certification-based development experience
Responsibilities
- Perform as an architect to select and develop the right display solutions for on-going pursuits.
- Developing design approaches for display software solutions.
- Develop product line roadmaps and influence new technology usage on executing programs.
- Develop innovative design approaches that meet customer requirements, cost targets, and product line objectives.
- Requirements, software, and test work, depending on program need.
- Support teams of software and systems engineers to develop, integrate and release displays software products.
- Primary displays technical points of contact for our programs.

- Willingness to travel (domestic and international <10%).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
