Healthie is looking to scale its virtual-first healthcare delivery infrastructure and improve healthcare outcomes through technology.
Requirements
- 6+ years of recent experience shipping Rails applications in production environments
- Familiarity with monolithic, service-oriented, or microservice architectures
- Proficient with Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis
- Hands-on experience managing production stacks in Ruby and Rails
- Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec and Capybara
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and IaaS technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Puppet, or Chef (nice to have)
- Experience optimizing application performance, solving database query problems, and modularizing monolithic applications (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and enhance existing solutions for the platform
- Ensure the highest quality in production systems
- Lead technical projects and provide guidance to junior engineers
- Optimize the platform to enhance the user experience for healthcare customers
- Take ownership of feature development from concept through to deployment
- Collaborate with a talented group of engineers and product teams
