The Security Center team's mission is focused on providing customers awareness about how secure their ServiceNow product is, as well as insights and tools to take action and remediate holes in their security.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and shipping software to production environments
- Proficiency in debugging tools and resolving product issues
- Strong proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented languages
- Experience developing applications in JavaScript
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting production systems
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners and designers to understand requirements and refine scope of work
- Own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery
- Collaborate with your fellow developers, and on other teams, and quality engineering peers
- Contribute to both new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Shape intuitive user experiences and customer journeys across our product suite
- Troubleshoot customer environments and debug code
