Google's Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products, owning and advocating for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. They aim to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with storage systems.
- Experience in software security.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Provide technical leadership and direct engineering building and launching company-wide access security infrastructure with specialization in securing Google storage systems.
- Design, develop and maintain storage systems privileged access infrastructure and storage system integrations.
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers and partner engineering teams to drive high-quality infrastructure for securing Storage Systems privileged access.
- Identify, clearly communicate to stakeholders and mitigate technical risks.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
