Requirements
- Hands on experience in developing product with AI/GenAI integration.
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Strong experience with AI frameworks/APIs including OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts, LLM prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector similarity search using Pinecone, FAISS, or ChromaDB.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments, big data pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices in Agile settings.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize AI model APIs, AI workflows, and Java backend services with attention to scalability, latency, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach working with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, development, and delivery of Java-based backend services integrated with AI-powered components leveraging GenAI technologies such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Build and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring seamless integration with AI-driven microservices and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to incorporate vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB) and AI retrieval pipelines into enterprise software.
- Develop, optimize, and deploy LLM prompt engineering solutions, embedding models, and AI-enhanced workflows targeting healthcare domain challenges in RCM and beyond.
- Estimate development efforts considering AI model inference latency, API rate limits, and backend service performance requirements.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure timely delivery of AI-enabled Java features with high quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Adhere to AI governance, ethical AI practices, security compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2), and maintain AI model evaluation and benchmarking (BLEU, ROUGE, cosine similarity) as integral parts of the development lifecycle.
