Voltus is looking to build the data products behind the worldwide transition to clean energy by reducing the complexity of quantifying and compensating participants in demand response events, streamlining data processing, and centralizing data pipelines, warehouses, and APIs.
Requirements
- Experience with designing durable data models and managing them at scale.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, composable primitives and APIs to capture core business logic for operating a growing portfolio of diverse energy resources
- Work closely with internal experts in energy markets to translate complicated market dynamics into discoverable, extensible, well-documented production code.
- Contribute to the engineering roadmap, vision, and goals.
- Establish clear and specific success criteria with key stakeholders.
- Lead major initiatives on a wide range of work that includes new customer-facing products, complex automations for internal stakeholders, and data infrastructure scaling.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to more junior team members.
- building the software and data services for our core business. Our work spans data-intensive web applications for real-time performance and grid monitoring to services that manage financial forecasting and payment.
