Babylist Health aims to provide a more user-friendly and transparent way for people to purchase a breast pump through insurance with incredible opportunities to broaden offerings for pregnancy, child, and new parent health in the future. This distributed team is responsible for scaling the technical systems and creating a user-friendly storefront that will support Babylist Health’s goals. You will also work on new strategic initiatives to expand the health offerings as we grow this business.
Requirements
- Skilled and experienced in Ruby on Rails and React
- Experience in e-commerce, healthcare payments, or consumer applications is a plus but not required
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Capable of strong execution, shaping and delivering small projects independently, and have good systems thinking
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our Product team to lead creation of new features in health, including product education and comparison tools, automating user support flows, and expanding our offerings of goods and services via health insurance
- Shape and lead execution of team cycle projects
- Mentor other team members through design and architecture planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Demonstrate strong systems thinking and curiosity, identifying opportunities to improve our product, technical systems, or ways of working
- Build systems to scale Babylist Health to $200M in revenue and beyond over the next 3 years
- Become a subject matter expert within our health services, defining how these services and features will grow and scale
