The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of designing and delivering exceptional user experiences across complex software applications and data analytics platforms in Texas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/UI architecture, design, and delivery experience, with strong documentation skills.
- 3+ years designing and deploying dashboards using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project management tools to document requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), DevOps/DevSecOps concepts, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 60 days of start.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, design, and usability testing to inform UX decisions, collaborating with product owners and engineering teams.
- Conduct UX interviews, surveys, and prototype reviews to gather actionable insights and improve user interactions.
- Develop personas, user flows, scenarios, user stories, and other tools to translate complex data into clear user experiences.
- Design wireframes, mockups, dashboards, and UI prototypes using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
- Support the development, testing, documentation, and deployment of software and UI components, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Create Kibana visualizations and dashboards, ensuring performance and accessibility best practices are applied.
- Mentor teammates on UX principles and foster adoption of user-centered design practices.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; 12+ years of professional experience, or 10 years with a related Master’s degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with virtual teams and stakeholders.
- DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim Secret clearance prior to start date.
- Demonstrated ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and mentor others on UX concepts.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
