Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and associated data services
- Hands-on experience working with healthcare data, standards, and regulations (e.g. HIPAA, HL7)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain services that process large volumes of healthcare data from diverse sources (EHRs, medical claims, etc.)
- Develop and implement quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure process integrity and data accuracy
- Collaborate with Product specialists and business stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions aligned with healthcare data privacy regulations
- Develop data deliverables that support analysis and reporting for various clinical and business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare data interoperability
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
