Plaid is looking to reimagine and transform its website to better connect with customers, showcase products, and communicate its story, requiring a lead engineer to drive the technical strategy and execution for this transformation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in both static and server-side websites
- Extensive experience leading the development of a robust web platform with a CMS
- Extensive experience with Javascript, React, or other modern UI frameworks/libraries
- Prior experience working on a stack with Google Analytics, Marketo, Segment
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or similar
- Familiarity with technical SEO optimization
- Experience coaching mid and senior level engineers
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy for our web platform, championing performance, availability, reliability, accessibility, user delight, and internal velocity. Additionally, contribute to executing against the strategy
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and Product to set strategy, roadmap, timelines
- Onboard new members to team and maintain a high standard for technical excellence
- Represent web needs in our overall frontend platform efforts focused on the build, deploy, and monitor experience
- Lead development on full pages and contribute to more templatized pages that are published via our CMS
