Requirements
- Proven success delivering large-scale cloud-based platforms in regulated environments (MedTech/HealthTech preferred).
- Strong background in Java development and modern software practices.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services and DevOps practices.
- Experience driving release management across multiple Scrum teams.

- Requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
- 7 + years in software engineering with at least 5 + years managerial experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of secure, scalable cloud services and applications powering insulin pumps, glucose sensors, and connected apps.
- Ensure telemetry APIs and business services are robust, performant, and compliant.
- Guide architectural decisions for modularity, resilience, and reusability.
- Lead DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation across the group.
- Ensure efficient, compliant use of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, etc.), balancing performance and cost optimization.
- Own observability, incident response, and operational excellence.
- Partner with product, regulatory, security, and device engineering teams to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, and other global standards.
Other
- Lead and coach engineering managers overseeing Scrum teams across therapy reporting, web apps, business services, telemetry APIs, and data processing.
- Define organizational goals, set priorities, and ensure alignment with overall product roadmap and company strategy.
- Foster an inclusive culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Own the on-time delivery of software releases that meet regulatory, security, and performance requirements.
