Medtronic is looking to solve the problem of managing diabetes through innovative mobile applications, and is seeking a Senior Mobile Apps Manager to lead the development of these applications.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and developing complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
- Knowledge of languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and Flutter
- Experience with agile/scrum environment
- Strong technical contribution to Systems being built and guide the team through coding principles and enforce design reviews
- Ability to collaborate with System and software architects
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with mobile app development
Responsibilities
- Experience in managing and developing complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
- Lead and manage a team of employees that are well versed in mobile app development using languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and Flutter
- Ability to collaborate with System and software architects to interpret, analyze product needs and guide the team through implementation
- Ability to coach developers on software development and provide constructive feedback to improve design and implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; can identify root cause of complex problems and provide solutions
- Provide feedback to cross functional teams such as Systems Engineering, Human factors, Clinical, and verification teams to drive quality products
- Work closely with quality and systems teams to ensure the product quality

- Self-motivated with great written and oral communication skills
- Strong relationship skills are a must
- Ability to build trust with leadership through consistent delivery and transparency
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 days per week onsite in Northridge, CA or San Diego, CA
