WEC is growing and has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer to play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining world-class enterprise software and applications in support of the World Equestrian Center's leadership in equestrian sports and the hospitality industry.

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years creating and managing distributed systems infrastructure across multiple environments.
  • Experience with containerization tools and techniques, including Kubernetes (k8s).
  • Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.
  • Experience with Git and GitOps techniques for infrastructure management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry (OpenTel) concepts and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build distributed systems that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
  • Create, instrument, maintain, and monitor both DevSecOps and Production software infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure quality, performance, and workflows.
  • Experience with containerization tools and techniques, including Kubernetes (k8s).
  • Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.
  • Experience with Git and GitOps techniques for infrastructure management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience in cloud-native environments (Azure or AWS preferred).
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows systems administration.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Enterprise Features.
  • Familiarity with event-sourcing and/or vertical-slice architecture.
  • Contributions to open-source or technical communities.
  • Production experience with globally deployed and public-facing web applications.
