WEC is growing and has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer to play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining world-class enterprise software and applications in support of the World Equestrian Center's leadership in equestrian sports and the hospitality industry.
Requirements
- 3+ years professional software development experience.
- 5+ years creating and managing distributed systems infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Experience with containerization tools and techniques, including Kubernetes (k8s).
- Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.
- Experience with Git and GitOps techniques for infrastructure management.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry (OpenTel) concepts and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed systems that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
- Create, instrument, maintain, and monitor both DevSecOps and Production software infrastructure.
- Continuously improve infrastructure quality, performance, and workflows.
- Experience with containerization tools and techniques, including Kubernetes (k8s).
- Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.
- Experience with Git and GitOps techniques for infrastructure management.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Contributions to open-source or technical communities.
- Production experience with globally deployed and public-facing web applications.
