Raytheon is seeking to design, implement, and maintain the software infrastructure required for the operation and management of satellite ground systems, with a focus on automation, deployment, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure and/or Software Engineering.
- Experience with the Linux platform.
- Development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Experience with VMWare and AWS.
- Software development experience in Java with unit testing and integration testing experience
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Working with multiple engineering disciplines in an agile DevOps environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the software infrastructure, including design documents, user manuals, and system administration guides.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to engineers needing infrastructure assistance.
- Define, develop, and prototype software scripts, virtualization environments, and cloud environments.
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Design and implement software infrastructure for satellite ground systems including the development of tools, applications, and frameworks needed for system operation and data processing.
Other
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Relocation assistance is available.
- Must be willing to work onsite in State College, PA, Ft. Meade, MD, or Aurora, CO.
