Draper is looking for a Senior Software Quality Process Engineer to ensure the delivery of high quality, compliant software by collaborating with users and customers to gather requirements, create and execute test cases, review software release packages and artifacts, and participate in software peer reviews.
Requirements
- Familiarity with tools common to automation tools, quality tools, and testing frameworks
- Proficiency using SQL
- Experience in related processes (SCRUM teams, sprints / increments, stories / points, backlog / burndown, defect), or Rapid Application Development, with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with Toolchains (Jira, Confluence, GitHub).
- Methodologies in continuous Improvement methods (e.g., Six Sigma, CORE)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reasoning skills; ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems
- Experience with programming languages and frameworks (JavaScript, React, NextJS, C, Python )
Responsibilities
- Gather development requirements and create detailed process flows
- Create and execute software test cases via Zephyr Scale
- Ensure products meet the organizations and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements
- Drive improvements to Draper’s software development process, including best practices
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects
- Lead Agile/Scrum activities to deliver high quality, compliant software
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving issues

- Ability to work on cross functional teams
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
- Familiarity with Quality Standards ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100.
