We have an immediate need for an onsite Senior Software Systems Quality Engineer (Quality Assurance/Compliance) to support Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS).
Requirements
- 5 years’ working experience in a Quality or Technical role and applying advanced concepts across at least FIVE of the following.

- Compliance Evaluation experience: validation, verification, auditing, action items.

- Requirements Verification experience: software/systems specifications, functionality, performance, release plans, statement of work, contracts.

- Release Management experience: checklists, labels, versions, licenses, repositories.

- Test Witnessing experience: test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test sites.

- Software Processes experience: requirements decomposition, code reviews, functions / features, building / configuration management.

- Defect Management experience: dispositioning, prioritization, resolution, implementation.
Responsibilities
- Review of Document Deliverables (CDRL), Command Media (Policies), SW Release Packages (Windchill PDM, Azure DevOps), SW Requirements Changes, SW/System Defects, SW Pulls (Code Reviews), Media, and Test Artifacts.
- Participation in Peer Reviews (SW, SE), Control Boards (CCB, SRB), Tracking Books (Metrics), Test Witnessing (SQT, FQT), and Audits
- Ensure digital products adhere to contractual requirements.
- Perform independent evaluations and risk assessments across lifecycle.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure integrity of the technical data package.
- Identify, collect, and measure software quality attributes, metrics, and data.
Other
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of Quality or Engineering Experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Onsite role in Tucson, AZ
- Interact with customers, product development, and test personnel.
- Provide guidance to senior management, team members, and group peers.
