PingWind is seeking a Senior Software Test and Evaluation Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and reporting of test and evaluation activities for complex software systems and applications to ensure that software products meet performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Expertise with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity testing, secure coding standards, and vulnerability assessment
- Understanding of system integration testing, interoperability, and requirements validation
- DoD 8140 Certification
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and evaluation strategies for software systems
- Define testing objectives, success criteria, and evaluation methodologies
- Lead the execution of functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Perform automated and manual testing as appropriate
- Document, analyze, and report test results, identifying defects, risks, and areas for improvement
- Ensure adherence to software quality assurance standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks
- Validate that security, interoperability, and performance requirements are met
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or evaluation
- Top Secret clearance required
- Travel requirements not specified
- Master’s degree preferred
