BigBear.ai is seeking to support a highly visible U.S. Government program focused on advanced software development, integration, and testing of cutting-edge Computer Network Operations (CNO) tools.
Requirements
- Proficiency with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Trac, or Redmine
- Proven experience designing, executing, and overseeing software testing in Agile environments.
- Strong documentation skills—able to clearly articulate test plans, procedures, and results.
- Ability to work independently, explore solutions, and contribute meaningfully in a team setting.
- 5 years of experience in web application and software system testing.
- Strong ability to lead testing efforts and take full ownership of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in designing and executing test strategies for complex, mission-critical web applications.
- Own the entire testing lifecycle from planning and execution to reporting and release validation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and release notes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Serve as a quality advocate, ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
