SAIC is seeking a Mid-Snr Level SW Test Engineer to support a key technical role on a fast paced highly innovative SDA project with the development of a cloud-based software factory for the BMC3 program. The system that you and your team will create will establish the capability to securely and rapidly field mission applications developed by BMC3 ecosystem participants for space vehicle platforms in support of Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) objectives.

- Experience with Kubernetes (k3s preferred), Docker, Containers, and Cloud Native Architectures.
Responsibilities
- advise unit level testing, create and perform integration testing, as well as ensure proper system level testing.
- The code tested will be a secure interoperable middleware layer (SIL) that enables the rapid development and deployment of software capabilities to space vehicles.
- Integrate the SIL with space vehicle hardware from multiple vendors to leverage CPU, GPU, and FPGA resources.
- Document test requirements and outline demos for future capabilities to ensure expectations are communicated.
Other
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 within the embedded domain.
- B.S. System Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of fundamentals will be considered in lieu of former education.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
