The company is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead the design and development of the payload testing framework for their next generation satellite projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing test frameworks for hardware systems.
- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in database management and automation tools.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- RF knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
- Hardware knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of test frameworks for hardware systems, specifically for payload testing across next generation satellite projects.
- Architect scalable and efficient testing solutions that integrate seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to identify testing requirements and design appropriate testing methodologies.
- Work closely with software developers to ensure the effective integration of testing processes into software systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members in software architecture and testing best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent years of work experience.

- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
- Experience working with test equipment in a lab and production environment
