AECOM is looking to deliver transformative AI-driven solutions that streamline enterprise processes and drive measurable business value, by designing and delivering high-impact end-to-end use cases, automating manual tasks, enabling AI-assisted or autonomous workflows, and optimizing outcomes across critical functions.
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in Agentic AI, generative AI, agent autonomy, tool use, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Working knowledge of key and emerging standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication protocols.
- Proficiency with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph, Microsoft Autogen, Azure AI Agent Service, CrewAI, N8N, Automation Anywhere, UiPath).
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and containerization.
- Strong experience with enterprise integrations (REST/GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven systems), identity/access (OAuth/OIDC, SCIM), and collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack).
- Familiarity with AI security and compliance (e.g., data isolation, audit trails, PII protection).
- Experience with designing and deploying production-grade agentic AI solutions with multi-agent orchestration at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end-to-end agentic AI solutions using appropriate technologies and frameworks, incorporating multi-agent collaboration and aligning with business requirements and measurable KPIs.
- Prioritize intuitive, user-centric design with seamless, context-aware interactions, following conversational UX best practices and ensuring clear human-in-the-loop escalation paths.
- Lead cross-functional delivery PODs to drive high-ROI solutions with rapid delivery cycles, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Define, maintain, and promote best practices for agentic AI solution design and delivery, including frameworks, orchestration patterns, naming conventions, CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and testing strategies.
- Manage and support a framework that classifies agentic solutions to drive consistency, accelerate delivery, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Develop, manage, and promote reusable agentic solution components to accelerate delivery, ensure consistency, and maximize enterprise-wide value.
- Manage a registry of all Agents and Agentic Processes, maintaining key metadata to ensure well-defined solutions that perform optimally against expectations and align with enterprise governance standards.
Other
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Project coordination experience across cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise solution design.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive-facing presentation ability.
- Ability to break down complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
