L3Harris Aeromet has an opportunity for a Senior Image Processing Engineer working to apply, enhance and develop image and signal processing techniques for an infrared detection, tracking, recognition, and analysis program.
Requirements
- 4 years Object detection and tracking experience.
- 4 years Python, MATLAB or other scripting language experience.
- Familiarity with atmosphere modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with ballistic missile target characteristics and trajectory analysis.
- Familiarity with mission planning.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scaled Agile development processes.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction/plan for image processing and algorithm development in support of the program objectives.
- Code development with Python (Jupyter Notebooks, NumPy, SciPy, OpenCV, Matplotlib) or MATLAB (Image or Signal Processing Toolboxes).
- Performing Atmosphere modeling and analysis.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
