L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr Specialist Software Engineer to design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment to support national security and customers' mission-critical needs
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development experience in LINUX using C++ or JAVA
- Demonstrated experience in Agile development and essentials of DevOps
- Demonstrated software component development, implementation, and integration in Linux
- Demonstrated experience using scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks
- Experience in working with virtualization, containerization, and hybrid computing environments
- Experience with software automated test tools and frameworks
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment
- Perform software coding and debugging, perform software unit tests, and integrate software components
- Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities
Other
- Active US Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
- Able to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned teams
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen
