L3Harris is looking to elevate quality across the enterprise by hiring a Software Quality Engineer to own the end-to-end quality strategy for two business areas, ensuring process compliance on programs that are developing software and firmware.
Requirements
- Java, C++, YAML, JavaScript, C-Sharp, and Docker Compose/Container
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), DevSecOps pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Quality Trend Analysis and previous RCCA experience
- Jira and Confluence (Atlassian full site) knowledge and experience
- Experience developing and reporting Quality KPI metrics
- Proven success deploying and managing quality frameworks
- Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, configuration management, and audit preparation.
Responsibilities
- Modernize and maintain a best-in-class software quality system that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Interfacing with software engineering to define the software quality strategy for two business areas, including building out a roadmap for the next generation of software quality support.
- Champion continuous improvement to protect product integrity, meet cost and delivery targets, and ensure mission success.
- Act as the single point of contact for all site-level quality matters, driving alignment across programs and with external customers.

- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and executive-level presentation ability.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment substance abuse testing and background checks, where permitted by law.
