Enbridge's digital transformation requires leadership in standardizing Software Development and Infrastructure-as-Code strategies, particularly in cloud computing, to define development tools and processes for TIS teams across North America.

Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience designing and building custom applications using modern cloud technologies and deployment models.
• 3 years’ experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Azure ARM, Bicep, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef.
• Microsoft Azure certifications and have hands-on experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub administration and advanced features (GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, etc.).
• Applied DevOps practices and used automation tools to support continuous integration and delivery within Agile SCRUM environments.
• Experience in prompt engineering and AI-augmented coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to assess, mature, standardize, and scale Enbridge's software development tools.
• Support the development & maintenance of multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with pivotal initiatives such as Microsoft Azure adoption and Enbridge’s Cybersecurity program.
• Promote secure development practices and contribute to the adoption of infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native services.
• Facilitate the Developer and Operations Community of Practice by managing communication channels and encouraging knowledge sharing.
• Lead the adoption of AI-powered development tools and practices, including GitHub Copilot, to enhance developer productivity and code quality across TIS teams.

• Over 10 years of experience in IT roles with a focus on software architecture and application development.
• Collaborate closely with multi-functional architecture teams and work with vendors to support the implementation of solutions.
• Embrace emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
