Responsibilities
- Providing server environment design and support, and supply outages resolution and 'break-fix' as needed to support and maintain RingCentral IT system software applications
- Supporting and building cloud type IT environments to automate processes for migration and testing of the RingCentral IT system deployed to public cloud providers
- Taking escalations from NOC team, and conduct incidents investigation and automated tools development to provide RingCentral Production IT system stability and fail-safety, to perform Incidents resolution and root cause analysis, and to build internal tools for incident prediction and faster resolution
- Implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting end-to-end server and network solutions for the enterprise to cooperate with Network Operations (NetOPS) team to assist in RingCentral IT network infrastructure upgrade, maintenance, and troubleshooting on voice features
- Evaluating, consulting, researching and making recommendations on large technical solutions to improve and simplify the RingCentral system using container and microservice architecture approach, and in consultation with development teams in the scope of operation requirements
- Performing system and web-server administration, writing scripts, engaging in network protocols and conducting remote administration of servers and network devices to coordinate with Data Center Operations (DCOPS) and Deployment teams to assist in RingCentral infrastructure and applications upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assisting with onsite and remote end user issues to support RingCentral's premium clients with strict terms of Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Other
- US Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of related experience, or five (5) years of related professional experience
- Ability to work on-site, remote or hybrid
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Three (3) years of related experience or five (5) years of related professional experience
- Equivalent combination of degrees, diplomas or professional experience and credentials determined by a qualified evaluation service to be equivalent to a US Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
