Local Market Strategy & Intelligence needs to define, measure, and communicate business performance through a market and customer lens to enable leaders across Product, Marketing, Expert Services, Retail, and Operations to make data-informed strategic and operational decisions with confidence.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
  • Advanced SQL proficiency; experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex data into strategic business insights.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, trends, and performance dynamics across markets and customer segments.
  • Develop compelling visualizations, dashboards, and presentations that enable data-driven decision-making at the leadership level.
  • Build measurement frameworks that help evaluate marketing, product, and operational outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in metrics, definitions, and performance tracking.
  • Support business reviews and planning cycles by developing analytical views and insights that reveal key drivers of growth and performance.
  • Champion best practices in analytics, visualization, and decision science.

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, ideally within consumer tech or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record influencing executive decision-making and driving business outcomes through data.
  • Strong business acumen across marketing, product, and operational strategy.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills — able to craft clear, compelling business narratives from complex data.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver impact in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • S. or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
