Requirements
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Advanced SQL proficiency; experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Strong business acumen across marketing, product, and operational strategy.
- Experience with analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, ideally within consumer tech or SaaS environments.
- Proven track record influencing executive decision-making and driving business outcomes through data.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex data into strategic business insights. Identify emerging opportunities, trends, and performance dynamics across markets and customer segments.
- Develop compelling visualizations, dashboards, and presentations that enable data-driven decision-making at the leadership level. Bring simplicity and clarity to complex analytical narratives.
- Build measurement frameworks that help evaluate marketing, product, and operational outcomes. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in metrics, definitions, and performance tracking.
- Support business reviews and planning cycles by developing analytical views and insights that reveal key drivers of growth and performance.
- Champion best practices in analytics, visualization, and decision science. Mentor others and contribute to a culture of data-informed leadership.
- Serve as a trusted data science partner to senior leaders across Marketing, Product, and Operations. Facilitate alignment through data, ensuring shared understanding of business drivers.
Other
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, ideally within consumer tech or SaaS environments.
- S. or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills — able to craft clear, compelling business narratives from complex data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver impact in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
