Marvell is looking to hire firmware engineers to develop and enhance firmware for their AI infrastructure connecting products, specifically focusing on SERDES/PCIE IPs and mixed-signal hardware-based accelerators. The goal is to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of these solutions.
Requirements
- C/C++
- RTOS or Scheduler
- Microcontroller embedded firmware with mixed signal products
- Hardware bring-up on microcontroller with IDE through JTAG, SWD
- SERDES/PCIE protocol familiarity
- Github and Jira familiarity
- Python is a plus
Responsibilities
- Architect, design and develop firmware for reliable, scalable, high performing SERDES/PCIE IPs using C/C++.
- Develop new features and enhance existing features for AI infrastructure connecting products by designing firmware and algorithms tailored for Marvell mixed signal hardware-based accelerators.
- Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware.
- Analyze and investigate methods to enhance firmware performance on Marvell SoC/IP by using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements.
- Work on MCU based SERDES/PCIe products, design and develop firmware and software for networking and switching products.
Other
- Work with application engineers (AE), product managers and cross functional hardware/software engineers to investigate and solve customer issues.
- Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution.
- BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience
