Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to create meaningful, technology-driven experiences that help customers save time and money, focusing on Human Capital Management features for mid-market businesses.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in interaction design, product design, or related field
  • Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies
  • Has worked in environments of experimentation where product goals may not have a clearly defined end state
  • Experience working in organizations with robust design systems
  • Has worked on products from concept to code (end-to-end)
  • Deep knowledge of design principles, methods, layout and composition, interpreting and applying a standardized design system
  • Mastery of Figma, auto-layout

Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
  • Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes
  • Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills
  • Providing design leadership within a team by collaborating with product managers, analysts, researchers, writers, and engineering partners to create outstanding customer experiences
  • Use facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you
  • Effectively present and communicate your designs and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management
  • Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices

Other

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and documentation skills
  • Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
  • Need to have: Comfortable working with UxR (running user tests & analyzing data, experience with evaluative and generative research)
